THE beach volleyball team from the Solomon Islands, Hanna Donga and Kirstin Baimasi, defeated Fiji in today’s match at the SIFF Academy.
By scores of 21-17 and 21-10, the pair overcame the Fijian representatives.
“Thank you to all of the fans, friends and family for their encouragement both on and off the court.
“We will adhere to our strategy and keep our concentration for our upcoming match tomorrow,” Hanna Donga stated in a post-game interview with local media.
The second game between the Solomon Islands and PNG is set to take place at the SIFF Academy tomorrow at 1:30 pm.
