Interested volunteers are encouraged to apply and become part of the pacific games collective workforce.
This was highlighted during the Iumi tugeda fo PG2023 Talk-Back show last Sunday at SIBC by Reenah Numaralai, Work Force Manager for the Games Organising Committee (GOC) 2023.

She said GOC is looking for individuals to work as volunteers in the south pacific games.
“These volunteers will be the heart of the Pacific Games which range from greeting upfront and going as far as back as backstage heroes,” she said.
She said the volunteers will shape the experiences of the competitors and the attendees during the games.
“The number of volunteers that we would like to bring on board is around 2500 plus aiming to 3000 volunteers,” she highlights.
The WorkForce Manager encourages the public who are interested to experience what volunteering is about in the pacific games to apply.
“Our encouragement to the public out there, if you are interested to become part of the games’ collective workforce and would like to experience what volunteering is about in the pacific games we encourage you to apply before we close with our registration,” the manager encourages.
She also highlighted the requirements for volunteering for interested applicants.
“Requirements for volunteering you must be 16 and above years of age, you can be from your community from here in Honiara and also extending to people in the provinces also open to employees of governments and business houses,” she said.
The Manager also mentioned that registration forms are available at the workforce centre on the fourth floor of the AJ City Mall and that forms are also available online on their website.
