MAKIRA/Ulawa Real Kakamora’s Head and Technical Coach Richard Mama has provided a preparation update on his squad following months of intensive training at the provincial capital, Kirakira.
The Head and Technical Coach told RAW SPORTS that there were no major issues of concern in the Real Kakamora’s camp and admitted he’s already got eyes to selecting final players to represent the Makira/Ulawa province at this year’s most anticipated Solomon Cup Tourney 2022.
“The boys are now fit and in good shape, that is mental, physical and spiritual, and tactical as they are continuing with their training at Kirakira.
“So far, we have our 30 training men squad, where we will later select our final 25 men squad. Our final squad is expected to be announced on 19 November,” he said.
Richard said the team is now camping and expected to travel to Tawatana, Asimanioha, and Marou Bay in Arosi 2, West Makira constituency to play friendly matches in the coming weeks.
He said that the team Real Kakamora will not feature any prominent players for this year’s 2022 Solomon Cup but the team would comprise new raw talented players.
RAW SPORTS understands that the majority of players under the Real Kakamora training squad are selected from the recent three weeks of football competition under this year’s Makira Ulawa Football League 2022 held in October.
The Solomon Cup tournament 2022 is scheduled to start from 26 November to 10 December
Here are the current 30 players who were called up for the Real Kakamora training squad, and the final squad may have some little changes but the current squad is full of the best they have all talented players, full skilled. The final selection will take place in late or mid-November.
