SOLOMON Warriors FC missed the opportunity to reach the second stage of the OFC Men’s Champions League 2024 in Tahiti, but coach Franco Ne’e said they will bounce back strong in future competitions.
Frank Ne’e expressed confidence that the Solomon Warriors will learn from their Oceania Championship League loss in Tahiti.
In Pool A of the OFC Men’s Champions League 2024 in Tahiti, the Solomon Warriors lost all three of their pool matches—to Hekari United 2-0, Rewa 3-2, and Auckland City 5-0. As a result, the Solomon Warriors were eliminated.
“Unfortunately, it’s not what we are working on. After the two defeats from the first two games, mentally, we were defeated, so now I’m working on my younger boys, our development, and what our next step is.
“So if we’re able to come back again in the next OFC Men’s Champions League, definitely I’ll come up with a new team that would compete,’’ Ne’e told OFC media.
