The Solomon Islands national futsal team, Kurukuru is expecting a good challenge as the team prepares to go into a tough second test this weekend.
The Oceania Futsal King will take on HOT 05 Futsal, a two time champions of the DFB Futsal, Germany.
According to SIFF media, the team is expecting a good challenge as the German side have played in the UEFA Futsal League and have some international players from South America and other European top countries.
The team will leave Poland this Friday to Germany and there, they will be kicking off the second friendly at 1:30 pm Solomon time.
Meanwhile, Kurukuru team Media officer, Simon Abana confirmed to Rawsport that Head Coach Vinicius Leite and team Physio Alexander Argolo is expected to join the camp in Poland this weekend.
The duo have been unable to travel with the team to Poland earlier due to travel restrictions imposed in Australia during the current COVID-19 cases outbreak.
The Kurukuru boys under the care of assistant coach Francis Lafai and assistant team trainer, Nelson Kabitana, have played their first friendly match last week after given 2 weeks of intense fitness and strength training on the court and in the gym.
Kurukuru team is expected to play a few friendly matches before heading off to Zagreb in Croatia for their build up competition, the ‘Futsal Week Summer Cup 2021’ early next month before heading off to participate in the FIFA Futsal World-Cup 2021 in Lithuania.
