Acting Hockey coach Esmie Belo thank the SINIS for their support towards the Hockey coach program offered at SINIS and their support for the Hockey team preparation.
The Coaching Scholarship Program is a big step for Mrs. Belo as a female Hockey coach.
Although the Program is too expensive, Esmie managed to obtain it on free offer from the SINIS.
She also applaud SINIS when she spoke with RAWSPORT in an exclusive interview on 19 February at SINIS.
With the help from SINIS, Esmie have seen a lot of improvement from Hockey athletes in terms of their fitness. At the moment the Hockey team are doing their training as plans are in place to trim the squad.
The Hockey team is anticipating a flight to Australia April this year for their first performance trial.
The final squad will be made and announced by August to September this year.
The Hockey team had confirmed their contribution towards the 40 gold medals Solomon islands have been aiming for comes the pacific games 2023 November 2023.
