BUMA Catholic parish station will be home to the West Kwaio Constituency Christmas sports tournament scheduled to kick off on Monday, December 26, 2022.
The tournament, which is a football competition will feature sixteen (16) teams from the respective wards in West Kwaio in Malaita province.
The theme for this year’s Christmas tourney is ‘Unity through Sports’ and it aims to engage youths during the festive season of celebration especially to avoid them from involving in illicit activities.
Chairman of the Sports Tournament, Mr. Ezra Kuki told RAW SPORTS that the football tourney will conclude with the following cash prizes and a trophy.
“First Price – a trophy and a cash of $5, 000, Second Prize, $4, 000, Third, $3, 000 and Fourth Prize is $2, 000,” he said.
