THE SOLRIGHT Women FC will take on Ha’arosia FC tomorrow – Saturday at the Lawson Tama stadium at noon.
The girls in Green made an impressive start during this season’s round one Women Solrice Premier League following their five wins and a draw to former Champions RSIPF royals.
Head Coach Godfrey Manenioha said his team is continuing with their training ahead of their nine remaining matches and work to improve some weaknesses identified in the team.
“Our win and draw so far was a big achievement for the girls and so far so good, but for now we will learn from our draw and utilize it to improve for our forthcoming games,’’ he said.
Manenioha said that the girls had looked forward to their coming games against Ha’arosia FC, Koloale FC, and Frigates FC in round one of the tournament.
“We did not underestimate our opponents but I am encouraging my girls to maintain the good work and collaborate to positive outcomes for the remaining matches,’’ he told Raw Sport in an exclusive interview.
He adds that the bulk of Solright players are former players and very cooperative and keen learners as they had shown since day one to date which also reflected on their performances.
Solright FC now stands second in the Women’s Solrice Premier League table after Koloale FC united and has nine more games to play.
In the first six matches of round one of the tournament, Solright FC has defeat Haura FC, borderline FC, Naha FC, Marist, West Honiara FC while having one draw with Champions, the RSIPF Royals.
