SORANAMOLA Village youths at Northeast Choiseul Province have received new soccer equipment.
As programs are slowed down during this Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) for Katario Ward 13 at Northeast Choiseul Hon Ronald Zakele is also supporting youths through sport development and healthy lifestyle.
The initiative is in perspective to Mr Zakele’s development plans for Ward 13 and that is to maintain the soccer skills and talents of the young people in the community.
“We have given soccer sport equipment for youths at Soranamola Village, purposely to assist in involving them in healthy activities.
“As the current Covid-19 Pandemic is having a negative impact towards systems and activities, with generosity, we are looking into maintaining and assisting through sport activities as well to maintain skills and talent of the young people.
“This is why my Office has supplied the soccer balls, soccer shoes, goal nets and other soccer gears for them.
“We will continue to support in sports where needed for young people,” said Zakele.
Hon Zakele wishes Soranamola youths all the best with the sport equipment, reminding them to make good use of them.
