The Telekom Super League round two will kick off come Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Lawson Tama Stadium after the brief spell ending round one of the super league last month.
This was confirmed at a Press Conference by Solomon Island Football Federation (SIFF) at the SIFF conference room yesterday.
During the conference, Director for Gerald Oiaka stated that everyone is anticipating Round Two (2) of the Telekom S. League.
“Everyone is looking forward to the TSL round two that will kick off this weekend at Lawson Tama.
“Currently, two reasons for a break after round one of competition was because of the transfer window that FIFA approves for SIFF and TSL to use which takes up four weeks starting on the 16th last month and should be completed by come weekend Saturday 11th, 2021.
“The other reason for the break was concerning Lawson Tama grounds which was under rehabilitation by the groundsman for the past 3 to 4 weeks. However, through assessment, I’m happy to announce that the field is ready to use” He said.
The TSL Competition Director in the meantime revealed that the League will run for 11 weeks and should be completed by 21st November if there is no disturbance.
Mr. Oiaka also acknowledged sponsors of the League, most especially the Major Sponsors, Our Telekom, the Media, and the Solomon Island Football Federation for availing all technical specialists and supporting the competition to continue successfully.
