SOLOMON Islanders Diana Matakali and Jenly Tegu Wini have claimed gold medals at the 2022 Northern Marianas Pacific Games this week.
Jenly Tegu Wini bagged 3 gold medals in the women’s 55 kg weightlifting competition and fellow Solomon Islander, Diana Matakali scooped 1 Gold Medal in the women’s 10,000 meters long-distance competition.
Team Solomon Islands sits at 8th place with a total of 22 medals – Gold Medals, 15 Silver Medals, and 3 Bronze Medals in the overall medal tally at the Pacific Mini-Games.
