A new chapter for grassroots football development has begun in Honiara as Leedz Futbol Akademi officially launched at the Burns Creek Adventist School Hall, drawing young players, coaches, parents, supporters, and football leaders from across the capital.

The launch event was strengthened by the presence of representatives from the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) and the Honiara Football Association (HFA) — a strong endorsement for an academy that has already earned national recognition despite being founded only earlier this year.
Academy founder Leedan Aluta shared with Star Sports recently that the academy’s mission is to build confident, skilled, and disciplined young footballers through a structured, world recognized development program tailored specifically for Solomon Islands talent.
At the heart of Leedz Futbol Akademi is a simple but powerful guiding principle: “ONE STEP EVERY SESSION.”
Every training session is designed to help players grow — technically, mentally, and socially — in a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where football is both learned and loved.

Leedz Futbol Akademi uses a globally recognised structured skills program that strengthens three key areas:
• Ball mastery under pressure
• Quick decision-making
• Confidence in attacking and defending spaces
This long-term approach aims to contribute meaningfully to the future of Solomon Islands Football, helping young players build strong foundations from an early age.
The academy has confirmed that registrations remain open, giving more families the opportunity to enrol their children in a program built on:
• Quality coaching
• Structured learning
• Strong values
• Player welfare
• A clear development pathway
Leedz Futbol Akademi welcomes boys and girls of all skill levels — from beginners to competitive players — who want to grow in football.
With SIFF and HFA showing strong support, Leedz Futbol Akademi is positioning itself as one of the promising youth football pathways in the country. Its commitment to structure, discipline, and player welfare sets a new benchmark for grassroots development in Honiara.
The academy’s message is clear: Solomon Islands football can rise higher — one step, one session, one player at a time.
