The 2026 SALT Corporate Futsal League has officially wrapped up, delivering another exciting season of competition, teamwork, and community spirit.
This year’s tournament brought together business houses from across Honiara, showcasing not only athletic talent but also the growing strength of corporate sports in the Solomon Islands.

The SALT Corporate Futsal League is more than a competition, it is a community initiative with two major goals,
The league encourages employees to stay active, improve fitness, manage weight, and build teamwork. SALT highlighted that healthier workers contribute to stronger families, better workplaces, and more productive businesses.
Funds raised through the league directly support SALT’s Futsal Development and Pathway Program, which focuses on nurturing young players and expanding opportunities for children and youths across the country.

As a church sports ministry, SALT emphasized its commitment to building sustainable initiatives that strengthen futsal development nationwide. Rather than relying solely on prayer or external financial support, SALT continues to create practical, community-driven programs that raise funds and expand outreach.
The 2026 season will be remembered for its competitive spirit, fair play, and shared purpose. Congratulations to Viti Boys and Hatanga Builders for claiming the top titles—and to every team that contributed to another successful year of corporate futsal.
