SOLOMON Islands Football Federation, Vice President Marlon Houkarawa has acknowledged business organizations who have thrown their financial support towards the success of this year’s Solomon Cup.
The Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) Vice President Marlon Houkarawa said this during the closing ceremony of the 2022 SolBrew Solomon Cup at Lawson Tama Stadium on Saturday 10 December.
Marlon Houkarawa thanked all the major sponsors, stakeholders, fans, and provincial football teams to make the football event a successful one this year.
He acknowledged Solomon Breweries Limited as a major sponsor of the 2022 SolBrew Solomon Cup 2022 and Y-Sato Marine Company for sponsoring individual players’ awards.
“We are truly honored to have partnered with our major stakeholders, who have to help us run such an important football competition like the Solomon Cup tournament.
“Without these sponsors, the Solomon Cup competition will not be that successful.
“On behalf of SIFF, I would like to stand and truly acknowledge everyone’s contributions throughout this tournament. The government, major sponsors, and other stakeholders from Provincial Football Associations as far as Temotu in the East and right up to Shortland in the Western part of the country.
“I would also like to congratulate the finalists of this year’s football competition. The teams such as Guadalcanal, Renbel, Makira-Ulawa, and Champions Malaita Eagle for their effort to make it as finalists of this year’s 2022 SolBrew Solomon Cup,” he said.
