The country’s only active table tennis association AGM and election is set for 28th June 2025. Speaking to the media the Secretary General of Honiara Table Tennis Association Mr. Samson Kakadi together with the president Mr. Kevin olea confirmed that the AGM and election is set for 28th June 2025.
Mr. Kakadi and the executive encourages all financial and registered member clubs to collect nominations forms from the HTTA office at Multi-Purpose Hall down stairs western end. Nomination opens this Friday 7th June 2025 and closes 21st June 2025 the following positions are up to nominate by members.
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary General
- Treasurer
- Para Rep Male
- Para Female Rep
Any forms receive after the closing date and time will not considered, therefore all club representatives are encourage to visit and collect forms at MPH by contacting Mr. Anselm Tainam, Kevin Olea 72021780 on cellphone 7677962 and Samson Kakadi 8494626.
Finally, all registered members will receive invitations and information package of the AGM-election this week regarding the AGM-Election details and information’s for all registered clubs and members.
The HTTA president acknowledges, the members, schools, communities, special canters, families, friends, NGOs, private sectors, individuals and business houses for the long-standing support since taking up the office in early 2021. HTTA look forward for more supports as we inspire our kids through sports as they learn the skills and also to become responsible citizen now and Gin the future Olea added.
We are the current highest Medal associations that won many medals from the recent national’s secondary school games in 2021 from other schools that affiliates to provincial table tennis association. Otherwise, the HTTA is eyeing to events this year
- 6 weeks training for school students’ community participants or any other interested participants a fee of $100/participants which will commence on 19th June 2025
- Business House competition that’s under dialogue with business houses social committee as it plans to commence August 2025.
