THE applications for the Sol2023 Pacific Games Volunteer Program will begin tomorrow, April 15.
The Solomon Islands Pacific Games Organizing Committee (GOC) announced earlier this month that they are looking to recruit and train over 3000 volunteers to join the Games Collective Workforce.
The Games Collective Workforce plays an integral role in ensuring the success of the upcoming Sol2023 Pacific Games.
According to a recent awareness by GOC Media, Interested individuals can apply for various Games-time roles that support the delivery and operations of the event. The roles include accommodation, accreditation, anti-doping, athletes’ village, broadcast, catering, ceremonies & culture, logistics, press operations & media, spectator services, team support, technology, ticketing, transport, venue operations, VIP & protocol, and volunteer services.
Applications for the volunteer program will be available online or can be collected at the GOC Workforce Centre located at AJ City Mall, Lunga.
The GOC advises applicants to refer to the Volunteers Handbook on the Games Official Website (www.sol2023.com.sb) for more information on the application process.
