THE Solomon Island Under-18 Girls School League draw was successfully carried out on 26 August at the SIFF conference room in Honiara.
Nine Schools in Honiara will be participating in the Girls League which will kick off next week 4th of September, 2021 at the Police club sport field.
The 9 Schools are;
- Marara CHS
- Florence Young CHS
- White River CHS
- Lunga CHS
- Panatina CHS
- Norman Palmer CHS
- St Nickolas CHS
- Mbokona CHS
- Naha CHS and
- Global Academy Harvest.
Development and executive assistant, Antoinette Miniti during the draw event said she is yet to receive all required documents from schools and sports masters before the kick off date.
She advised that Birth certificate is an important document which all students participating in the league should produce for verification purposes.
The SIFF Development officer said school teams will be provided with equipments such as soccer balls, sim pads, coaches’ shorts, whistle and hand gloves.
Rawsports understands that this completion will also be used to select additional players for the national Under-19 women team in preparation for the OFC Under-19 championships that is scheduled for April next year.
