DEFENDING champions Western Tomoko’s head coach, Seri Hite has announced a strong 37-man squad for the 2022 Solomon Cup that is scheduled to start from 26 November to 10 December.
Western Tomoko’s senior strikers like Andrew Tiazi, and Gheso Kituru are likely to lead the attack of the squad.
Head coach, Seri told RAW SPORTS that the squad also consists of reserve players who will be available to replace any players due to unforeseen circumstances like illness or injuries.
He said the squad will continue to focus on their training sessions scheduled for the next three weeks and are expected to travel to Honiara mid of November
“We are expected to travel to Honiara for this year’s 2022 Solomon Cup Tournament on 21 November,” he said.

“As the defending champions, Western Tomoko will prepare itself to compete in a proactive level approach rather than a reactive strategy approach in this upcoming tournament, he said.
RAW SPORTS understands that the majority of players within the Western Tomoko squad are selected from the recent 2022 Inter Islands Championship held from 3 to 17 October.
Here are the current 37 players who were called up for the Western Tomoko final squad ahead of the Solomon Cup 2022.
Goalkeepers: Stanley Mana, Graham Rimizi, Brenton John, and Darcy Tefenoli.
Defenders: Wesley Misu, Lebo Regeo, Vincent Kwasi, Alrick Levani, Joslean Mamu, Martin Rence, Smith Kibi, Dudley Suri, Veve Dick, Alex Leiau, Alfie Jared, and Ronnie Tioga.
Midfielders: Baku Alezama, Anthony Rasau, Tutizama Tanito, Tamanaua Sasa, Ricason Luito , Samuel Runi, Leonard Rokoto and Dennis Qevolo.
Coaching Staff: Head Coach – Seri Hite, Assistant Coach and Team Manager – Loulen Lelapitu, and Goal Keeper Coach, Edson Sasapitu.
