SOLOMON Islands National Bodybuilding Sports Development Officer, Charles Dolofera is stepping up early plans to prepare the country’s bodybuilding athletes in their training ahead of the 2023 Pacific Games in Honiara.

He told RAW SPORTS that he is now working closely with the Solomon Islands National Bodybuilding Federation (SINBBF) including NOCSI and the Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC) to plan competition events that will boost bodybuilding athletes in their initial preparations ahead of the next year’s Games.
“I am looking forward to shaping the development and facilitating the initial training to prepare our local bodybuilders for the upcoming Pacific Games.

“The important thing is to maintain and improve the bodybuilders in perfect body shape and hardness through conditioning sessions and gym training, and organized competitions in the country.
“I am confident of our bodybuilders, they can win medals for the country in the upcoming Pacific Games in Honiara. It’s important for us to be aware of the quality training facilities that our bodybuilders have accessed at the Solomon Islands Institute of Sports complex,” Charles said.
