Team Makira Taekwondo delivered one of the standout performances of the 2026 Solomon Games in Honiara, powering their way to an impressive 20‑medal finish and secures their status as one of the nation’s rising forces in the sport.
The team’s athletes showed discipline, courage, and technical skill across both team and individual events, turning the Taekwondo arena into a showcase of Makira’s sporting pride.

Team Fight: 4 Silver
Individual Fights: Gold – 4, Silver – 11, Bronze – 5
